Dr. D. David Schultz is a retired professional wrestler, famous for his time in the World Wrestling Federation (WWF) from the late 1970s to the mid-1980s. He was born on October 7, 1953, in Madison County, Tennessee, and started his wrestling career in 1972.

Schultz is known for his abrasive personality and aggressive style in the ring. He was managed by WWE Hall of Famer Captain Lou Albano and later teamed up with Rowdy Roddy Piper to form a villainous duo.

Schultz became infamous for a real-life incident in 1984 when he slapped John Stossel, a reporter for ABC News, during an interview where Stossel questioned the authenticity of wrestling. This incident led to Schultz's departure from the WWF.

After leaving the WWF, Schultz continued to wrestle for several years in various promotions. In 1995, he published his autobiography titled "Don't Call Me Fake: The Real Story of Dr. D. David Schultz." Schultz currently resides in Georgia and runs a professional wrestling school.
